Went by last Saturday at around 8.30pm, and the place was packed! It’s my first time trying out Uncle Jang so I didn’t really had much expectations, I was most impressed with the hospitality the lady boss had, and also the team of workers who knew how to speak Korean (foreign workers btw) was legit a little mind blown at that fact…. The food was served and it was piping hot due to the fact we had a massive grill in front of us, it was really delicious and all the food was gone in no time. The sided were all made in house as well which added many layers to the flavour. Speaking about insane value as well it was really affordable considering we had ordered, a 2 person portion of the Dakgalbi, egg pancake, chicken wings and also added on the stir fried rice at the end. 10/10 would recommend!

Locate on second floor, nice deco with the warm light , the food is delicious. The egg pancakes is sweet and tasty, all the small dish and soup can be refill. The chicken is juicy and tender. Ice cream need RM0.5 for each , overall is good
What an excellent place to enjoy dinner! We came after reading the reviews and was blown away by the hospitality of the lady in charge (the boss?) and her team of Korean speaking chaps. Lady boss (see her in action) was not pushy, recommended their specials and star dishes and even stopped us from ordering more (so rare!). Close to 9pm on a weekday, this eatery located on SECOND level is still 80% full. Fantastic hospitality! Most importantly, we loved the flavours of the Dak-garbi and the Pork Bulgogi!
Great value, we ordered set 1 meal for 2 person. At first we thought it wasn’t enough for us, but end up we are full enough because they do serve some free kimchi and onion, RM29/pax is a good deal to eat Korean food in jb for real. This set meal including rice cakes, ramen, vege, and some pork cubes. We were having our late lunch at 4pm, only the other pair of couple taking their food here, the restaurant is quite and comfortable. Oh ya, they serve batang stick ice cream for just RM0.50 per stick overall it was a great experience for me and my friends!
